Community Kicks U4-U7

The Community Kicks program is KLM’s exciting new Spring program beginning in April 2018. This is part of our ongoing commitment to provide accessible soccer programming for children in the community. This program is available for all U4, U5, U6 and U7 players. Our program follows Canada Soccer’s Long- Term Player Development Plan. This ensures that players receive proper age appropriate training that corresponds to children’s stages of development. The following link will give you more information on the stages of player development:

Our $20 introductory registration rates for families living in and around the central Vancouver area will assist in removing cost as a barrier to participation. KLM continuously strives to offer value, keep fees modest and include all irrespective of ability to pay. Space is limited so register today. We are all excited to see you on the field.

Program Description

Program will be headed by Tykes Head Coach Jane Graham and her World Famous Assistant Coaches called “The Assistants”. The program will focus on learning the fundamentals of soccer, individual technical ball control skills, small sided games to ensure every child has plenty of touches on the ball.

Players will be assessed and placed on teams based on their ability to ensure they have the best experience. We will continue to assess during the 8 week program and rebalance teams when necessary.
Players who just finished the U7 Fall/Winter Tykes program are still permitted to play in the Spring U7 program.

Parents who are interested in volunteering as coaches for our Spring Program can contact the club directly at:
