Community Kicks U4-U7
The Community Kicks program is KLM’s exciting new Spring program beginning in April 2018. This is part of our ongoing commitment to provide accessible soccer programming for children in the community. This program is available for all U4, U5, U6 and U7 players. Our program follows Canada Soccer’s Long- Term Player Development Plan. This ensures that players receive proper age appropriate training that corresponds to children’s stages of development. Our $20 introductory registration rates for families living in and around the central Vancouver area will assist in removing cost as a barrier to participation. KLM continuously strives to offer value, keep fees modest and include all irrespective of ability to pay. Every child will receive a free t-shirt. Space is limited so register today. Program Fee: $20
Program will be headed by Tykes Head Coach Jane Graham and her World Famous Assistant Coaches called “The Assistants”. The program will focus on learning the fundamentals of soccer, individual technical ball control skills, small sided games to ensure every child has plenty of touches on the ball.
Players will be assessed and placed on teams based on their ability to ensure they have the best experience. We will continue to assess during the 8 week program and rebalance teams when necessary.
Players who just finished the U7 Fall/Winter Tykes program are still permitted to play in the Spring U7 program.
All players will receive a free KLM T-shirt as a part of the registration.

2018 Community Kicks Coaches
Andrea TorresAndrea was born in Peru and moved to Canada in 2006. She has worked in local academies and she specializes in technical development for players aged 4-12. She has an incredible passion for the game and it is evident in her teaching methodology. She was able to fulfill one of her lifelong goals at the 2015 Women’s World Cup by serving s a volunteer for the biggest showcases on planet earth. She is currently a standout player in Division 1 of the Metro Women’ Soccer League. Get ready to be inspired.
Natasha PrahstNatasha is one of our top House League Coaches and a KLM alumni who played for the club for more than 5 years. She brings her experience and positive energy to the Community Kicks Program.
Jane is our Girls and Tykes Head Coach. She grew up playing soccer in Vancouver, and spent two years as a member of Langara College women’s team. She has coached for various soccer clubs in the lower mainland for the past twenty years, as well as coached numerous high school teams. She also spent time as an assistant coach for Douglas College women’s soccer team, and was a lead instructor at UBC Soccer School for many years. Jane holds a Masters Degree from UBC in Physical Education, with a research focus on soccer player development. She is currently a high school teacher in Delta. Jane has completed her national coaching certifications for Introduction to competition A and B, as well as completed her B-prep license with BC soccer in 2009.
