When does registration open?

Registration opens on February 15th of each season.

What form of payment does KLM accept?

We accept credit cards online.

Refund Policy*

Our refund policy is changing for the 2018/2019 season.

- Team Refund Policy -

Players withdrawing after teams have been formed and before the season begins create an
administrative disruption for the club, league, and team, and in addition cause the potential for
other players to be denied an opportunity to be added to a team roster at the time of selection.
The purpose of our refund policy is intended to ensure that teams formed during the
selection/registration process will have the stability to play when the season begins.
Refunds of the registration fee, less a $45 administration fee, will be available to withdrawing
players as follows:

  • U11 to U18 (inclusive): Prior to June 5th of the upcoming season.
  • U5 to U10 (inclusive): Prior to September 1st of the upcoming season.

Requests for refunds must be made via email to registrar@klmsoccer.com prior to the
deadlines above. There will be no refunds after the deadlines.  Refunds will only be issued to
the credit card that was originally used for the purchase/registration.

- Academy & Programs Refund Policy -

Refunds

Refunds are only issued for medical reasons with a doctor’s note. Approved refunds include pro-rating the registration fees after a $25.00 administrative fee deduction.

Non KLM Players

Players who are not registered with KLM at the time of registration or the previous season, first need to contact the club prior to registering. You can reach the club at: registrar@klmsoccer.com

Cancellations

The Academy sessions will only be cancelled in severe or sudden adverse weather conditions. If this is the case you will be notified via email of any cancellations and the club will do everything possible to make the cancelled sessions up. The club will not be responsible for refunds if we are unable to reschedule any missed sessions due to weather.

How to Register for 2018/2019 Fall/Winter Season

Welcome to KLM Soccer! If you are new to KLM you will need to create an account in order to register your child. If your family does not have a credit card, the club encourages you to purchase a pre-paid Visa or Master Charge card.

If you served the club in a recognized volunteer position last season, please contact the Member Services Representative for a discount coupon code prior to registering. You can view the list of recognized volunteer positions .

* There will be an additional $50 volunteer fee added to the cost. If you have volunteered the previous year in an approved position, then you will not be charged this fee.

Registration Timeline

Registration opens in mid February. Registration is first come first served, so please register
early for the best chance to secure a spot and to take advantage of our early registration
discounts.

Legal

  • Acknowledgement: I acknowledge having read and I agree to the above policies of Kensington Little Mountain Soccer Association (KLM). I hereby confirm that I am legally entitled (parent or legal guardian) to sign this consent/waiver on behalf of the registrant.
  • Consent: I consent to the registrant participating in the activities of KLM and acknowledge that there are risks associated with such participation. I release, hold harmless, and agree to indemnify KLM and its officers, club officials, members and agents from all injury, loss and damage which might be claimed against the said Association or them or any of them or on behalf of the said registrant (player) and arising directly or indirectly from such participation, including transportation to or from any and all KLM Soccer related activities.
  • Privacy: I give my consent to share the above information with Vancouver Youth Soccer Association and BC Soccer Association.
  • Images: I consent to the use of images of my child for display on the Association website and other KLM Soccer related communications, print and/or other marketing materials.
  • Electronic Communications: I consent to KLM sending me email communications of a “non commercial” variety and may include messages about my account, my registration, KLM related events, announcements or updates.

Player Financial Support

KLM strives to keep fees modest and include all irrespective of ability to pay. We will not turn any kids away and will work with families/guardians to ensure players qualify for financial assistance. Please contact the Registrar if you would like to apply for financial assistance to cover the cost of your child’s registration.

* Please note a refundable uniform deposit is required for all registrations including families registering with financial assistance. That payment can be made in the form of a post dated cheque or money order. The club will not cash the funds and will hold in trust until the uniform is returned at the end of the season.
